We lost power for about 1/2 the day, but it is back on now. I drove home from work and it was very windy and the rain was still coming down.
I had about 6 messages on the phone, one from a dear friend, my "big Sister," who just went through Ivan in Panama Beach. I appreciated her concern. This was also the second Sunday in the past 4 weeks that church had to be cancelled due to a hurricane. Not fun.
Tomorrow we continue to face the south part of the storm from what I am told. Lots of rain. Well, no damage that I can see to the house, so good bye Jeanne! |
