AUSTRALIA has quietly rejected diplomatic overtures from the United Nations and the US to contribute to a military force to protect UN officials in Iraq.
Good for Australia! Don't be do-boys for the UN. They want protection, but they were happy to let hundreds of thousands of Iraqis die from Saddam Hussein's butchery.
