HEAD Sec. 502. Enlistment oath: who may administer
STATUTE Each person enlisting in an armed force shall take the following
oath:
''I, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ __, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
So help me God!"

This oath may be taken before any commissioned officer of any armed force.
Notice how the oath states: "that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic..." That is the aim- we have a military to protect this nation, not to do the bidding of an anti-American world body that is run by the sleaziest of politicians. (See the oil for food scandal and the pro-abortion, pro-feminism arms or the UN, the coddling of terrorists and the anti-Israel efforts)
Here is the oath for a commanding officer in the UN:
"I solemnly affirm to exercise in all loyalty, discretion and conscience the functions entrusted to me as a member of the international service of the United Nations, to discharge those functions and regulate my conduct with the interest of the United Nations only in view, and not to seek or accept instructions in respect to the performance of my duties from any government or other authority external to the organization."
These two oaths are specifically opposed to each other. The US military oath demands allegiance to the USA and it's Constitution. The UN oath demands denying your Sovereign nation and obeying the world body.
This is a BAD idea. The USA should have nothing to do with the United Nations. |
