i Remember Diane 5.1.1975-11.29.2004
29.11.05

Last year on this date I found out that my sweet, dear sister went on to be with Jesus. I am still saddened and there is not a day that goes by that I do not think about her. I have several posts about her under my "Special Links" section.

i Remember Diane, with a tear, but also with peace that she is pain-free and complete.

Enter In... Adrian Rogers 9.12.1931-11.15.2005
15.11.05
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. (Psalm 116.15 KJV)

Pastor Adrian Rogers died this morning. He helped the Southern Baptist Convention to embrace Biblical Christianity by steering it in a Conservative direction. Many may say, "You can be liberal and Christian," but it is often a contradiction. Liberal view: abortion is a right. Biblical and Conservative view: children are known by God before He forms them in the womb and abortion is murder of a child (Exodus 21:22-23/Jeremiah 1.5/Psalm 139.13-16). Liberal view: homosexuality is fine and not sinful. Biblical and Conservative view: homosexuality is sin and an abomination in God's sight (Leviticus 18.22/Romans 1.26-27). Liberal view: the Bible contains God's Word, but is not fully His Word. Biblical and Conservative view: the Bible is Scripture that is "God-breathed" and inerrant (Luke 1:70/Romans 1:2; Romans 3:21; Romans 16:26/2 Timothy 3.16).

A bit of history- the SBC was being threatened to walk down the road taken by Episcopals, United Methodists and Presbyterians- abandoning God's Word and running to a relativistic, socially acceptable, pseudo-gospel. However, Adrian Rogers was part of the Conservative movement within the SBC that clung to Biblical ideals and teachings. Eventually, the liberals (under the label "moderates") split and formed the "Cooperative Baptist Fellowship." That was the best thing to happen to the SBC in 150 years!

When Tony Campolo and Jimmy Carter (both have aligned themselves with the CBF and espoused curious doctrines) wake up in hell (lest they repent- Matthew 4.17; Mark 1.15, 6.12; LUKE 13.3, 24.46-47; Acts 3.19, 17.30-31), they will wish they were more serious about God's Word as was Adrian Rogers. And before you comment about "judge not lest ye be judged" read: Rand's Post; he says what I would say so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

WorldNetDaily: 11th night of holy hell in France
7.11.05
WND Reports that "Muslim immigrants" are mostly to blame for the 11 days of rioting in France and the neighboring areas in this WND article.

Tell me why Christians and Jews do not make it a practice of terrorizing people and justifying murder and pillaging? Some may point to the Crusades, but that was mostly Romanist and a very, very long time ago. Islamists also had something to do with the Crusades.

Amoral behavior is condoned by Islam and a part of Mohammed's history, not only Islamic history. Mohammed praised followers who murdered a blind man as he slept, a woman withchild and even excused his own incestuous pedophilia.

And the French, true to form, want to surrender to these bullies and criminals as seen in this post on the Time For Truth blog:
The French government is warning its people not to see the rioting through the prism of religion. According to government experts, the violence has nothing to do with Islam. It's more a game of copycats, insist one government official; youths in one area trying to do or outdo what youths in other areas are doing. "It's a kind of hit parade by the neighborhoods," the official added, dismissing it all as nothing more than young people trying to get on the evening news.

WorldNetDaily: Vatican to Catholics- Listen to scientists
4.11.05
Here we see that Papa Frita (JP2) aligned himself with those who push a false evolution theory as if it were fact instead of the Bible which states:
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. (Colossians 2.8 NKJV)

Here is the quote from the WND article:

"When asked about the debate raging between evolution and intelligent design in the United States, a papal representative reaffirmed John Paul II's 1996 assertion that evolution was 'more than just a hypothesis.'"

WorldNetDaily: European Union lowercases 'Christ'
2.11.05
This WorldNetDaily story is why I am happy not to be a European (or would that be "european?").

The facts spelled out at the end are telling:
Many Europeans have long discarded belief in God and in fact believe more deeply in ghosts than in a deity.

A new poll finds two-thirds of Britons said they believe in the existence of ghosts and spirits, but only 55 percent said they believe in the existence of God.

Meanwhile, 26 percent believe in UFOs, 19 percent in reincarnation and 4 percent in the Loch Ness Monster, Ananova reported.
