Pfleger is a loud-mouthed opportunist. He knew what he was saying would be put out there. He is a bigger bigot than Rev. Wright or David Duke.
Please tell me why the IRS does not go after this "church" (congregation of hate) for mixing politics and the pulpit. If this was a message in a conservative church bashing Clinton or Obama the ACLU, People for the (un)American Way or some other God-forsaken liberal, anti-Christ organization would sick the IRS on them. However, this venomous diatribe was from a far-left-wing group and gets a pass.
(I am not labeling this Romanism because I doubt the Roman church supports "father" Pfleger's doctrines)
Hillary Clinton made such a bone-headed remark about why she stays in the race it makes you wonder. Does she hope for Barack Hussein Obama to be assassinated? She should have plainly said that "It ain't over 'til it's over." Instead she opened the floodgates of criticism.
I think Barack Hussein Obama has made some dumb remarks (as former posts and links to videos demonstrate), but this one is much worse. Not because she was making a wishful statement, but because she is NOT the media's darling anymore, and this will be (and has been) spun into sounding like she said she hopes he will be assassinated. See the video above.
A while back I had a series of posts on "Religion in Politics." Maybe I should have a new series for "Idiots in Politics." Just listen to the latest "I'm nowhere near being smarter than a fifth grader" comment by Obama:
I despise the Republican Party. They are spineless, gutless weasels. DemocRATS are no better- in fact, they tend to actually be worse. The DemocRAT Party is amoral. Obama is a lying nut and Clinton is a power-hungry wench. McCain is a useless political hack.
Chuck Baldwin is the Constitution Party's nominee for President of the United States of America. While I totally disagree with his opposition to the War Against Terrorism (including the battlefronts in Iraq and Afghanistan), I agree with all the other platforms the Party holds to and while I preferred Alan Keyes as a candidate, I will pledge my support to Chuck Baldwin.
I have been told by other Christians and Conservatives that I am wasting my vote. However, voting for John McCain is immoral. He is a lying politician who has no true allegiance to anyone but himself. He is not Conservative. He does not espouse Christian values or beliefs. How is voting for a creep using my vote wisely? How can I vote against my principles or convictions?
Therefore, I go on record as supporting Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party. I reject Mr. McCain and his liberal voting record and pseudo-conservative history. I reject Mrs. Clinton and her quest for a Clinton Dynasty. I reject Mr. Obama and his calls for "Change"- his calls that have a lack of any substance at all. They are all wasting our time. Chuck Baldwin has substance and a Conservative world view.
Below are some links about Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party:
Scary, eh? Obama has no clue. He is about as bright as an egg plant. Cut defense? Does he really trust Vladimir's Pootin' to disarm his nuclear arsenal? He is joking, right? Maybe Barack Hussein Obama does want God to Damn America like his pastor does. Only thing is that Obama will have the power to make that happen if he is elected president. God forbid. As I said before, Barack Hussein Obama may well be the last president of the United States if he is elected.
With the stupidity being shown daily in Washington D.C. it is clear that the United States is a nation with suicidal tendencies. We have a bunch of pompous buffoons in congress grilling a bunch of baseball players and related persons who may or may not have used steroids. We have an unexperienced young man beating out a politically driven woman potentially slated run against a pseudo-conservative politician whose only claim to fame is that he was captured in Viet Nam. I totally respect the fact that McCain served in Viet Nam- he did not run to another country (Clinton the Mr.), nor did he lie his way out (Kerry). I just do not believe being in Viet Nam or being a former necessarily makes you good president material. After all, Benedict Arnold was also a soldier. They have the skill of telling people what they want to hear whether it is true or not, whether it is practical or not.
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. -2 Timothy 4:2-4 (ESV)
I believe that, as things stand right now, Barack Obama will be the next president. I can see him being the last president of the United States. If the congress of the USA and the president are equally ignorant and unconcerned with the best interests of the nation as a whole how will we survive?
Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. -James 3:13-16 (ESV)
The democRATS and republicans leave us no one to vote for. No third party stands a chance with the way the two main parties have tilted things. There are no statesmen left. There are few who stand for what is right and shun evil. What is wrong is considered right: murder of unborn children, homosexuality, promiscuity, gossip, greed, hatred... the list goes on.
It is a sad state. It may be the end of an era just ahead of us.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! -Isaiah 5.20 (ESV)
In the following video Newt Gingrich discusses his concern for the United States of America. I do not like some of his choices in life and I did not like his trilogy of books- a supposed alternative history of the War between the States.
I felt he had the North win in the books because he was considering a run for the White House and did not want to be tagged as a closet Confederate. I also did not like his characterization of Jefferson Davis as a devious, evil man- a man without honor- at the end of the last book in the trilogy. I did not feel that having the North win made for a good alternate history. A win for the South would have opened up so many questions to explore.
Anyway, I digress. The following video makes me wish Newt Gingrich was running for President. I could vote for him with enthusiasm. Please sit back for about five and a half minutes and hear what he has to say.
According to the article in the NC Register, Randall Terry (in his own words) has converted to Romanist catholicism. This is why I am no longer involved in "pro-life" activities. They equate Romanism with Biblical Christianity, a union of Christ and the Romanist Belial.
Apparently Mr. Terry has to get his first marriage annulled before he can finish his conversion.
Some of the interview:
What was your greatest fear? That I would wake up and say there was no change in me. That has not been the case. Being in the Church has brought a wonderful sense of belonging. I am part of 2,000 years of Christian history that is glorious, that has warts, and heroes and villains, but that is nonetheless the Church founded by Jesus upon Peter.
Some very poor Romanist theology there. He is a weak man who is becoming "catholic" because he was a nominal evangelical. I doubt he ever truly knew Jesus. He definately does not know the voice of the Holy Spirit:
Which theological hurdles were the most difficult for you to jump? They boiled down to papal infallibility, Marian dogma, and purgatory. For years I have craved to be in the Catholic Church, but couldn’t figure a way to get around these hurdles. They became resolved this Lent. On Ash Wednesday, I started a 40-day fast. I have been in conversation with a priest, Father John Mikalajunas, in Binghamton for over 20 years. To my amazement, during Lent, I sensed that it was the plan of the Holy Spirit to bring us into the Catholic Church. After some further conversations with Father Mikalajunas as well as with other evangelicals who had come into the Church, those theological issues evaporated. Once I realized the Truth, I had to go in. I couldn't wait.
I wonder if he will ever have the opportunity to kiss the pope's ring or to kiss the feet of some famous statue in Rome? What a goof.
"Would you like to see the Pope on the end of a rope - do you think he's a fool?" -Black SabbathAfter Forever (Well I do not condone the first part, but the second part has some merit)
